EOS features a shutter housing: this CE-certified dual-channel mechanical shutter is a tool that ensures absolute safety for the laser marker user. During marking, the shutter remains in the open position, while it closes at the end of the operation, providing a safety lock condition. Shutter movement can be controlled by laser hardware/software or I/O signals. A certified, integrated safety sensor detects the position of the shutter blade in the housing, providing information that confirms the shutter position status. Designed for the marking of medium and large objects, IDEO is a complete, self-contained, flexible and easy-to-use marking system that is perfectly suited to simple or mass production line applications. It is a Class 1 safety device. Large windows on three sides of the door allow the operator to control laser marking activity, but it is also possible to integrate Automator's new SWYMTM (See What You Mark) vision system to monitor marking activity directly on the PC screen. The standard Z-axis is controlled by software, but an optional automatic Y-axis can also be integrated. IDEO can accommodate all Automator laser marking sources: NANOVISIII, belonging to Automator's new aWave product family with self-adjusting frequency; VISII, an innovative one-piece laser with YVO4 source in 10, 20, 30 and 40W OEM versions; GREENVISII, an innovative one-piece green laser in 3, 5 and 10W versions; FYBRAII, the powerful 21, 35 and 62, 82 and 100W active fibre lasers; MOPAII and MOPA3, lasers designed for "absolute black" marking or for making color on metals.
