Maridive is a free-zone joint stock established in 1978. Located in
Port Said with offices in Cairo, Alexandria, & Abu Dhabi.
Major objective is to provide offshore support vessels (marine
services) and offshore construction services (project services)
to oil exploration and production companies.
With over 30 years. experience, MOS is currently largest Egyptian
marine and offshore oil services company and one of the
largest regional players in terms of its fleet size. It presently
owns 64 marine units, and has contracted for 10 a further
marine units (vessels and barges) to be delivered gradually by
2012. In addition, MOS. operations have widely expanded. The
group has won a number of contracts in the Gulf, India (
Caspian Sea, Gulf of Mexico) as well as North, West, and East
Africa in addition to the Far East and Gabon.
On February 8th, 2010, MOIL disclosed a plan to invest USD220M
in fleet expansion, as well as embarking on a joint service
project with France.s Total in an effort to acquire an oil
excavation license in Cameroon. This project is also worth c.
USD220M.
Serves Total, Royal Dutch Shell Plc, BP Plc, Saudi Aramco,
Qatar-gas, Kuwait Oil & other oil giants, owns over 66 marine
units and has contracted to receive about eight vessels and two
barge by 2012. Joint venture with Enpi and Total, stake in such
alliance amounted to $140M. Searching investment
opportunities available in West African regions and targeting
increasing its business volume in North Africa.
